Why I Walk
Please support me as I take an amazing journey in the fight to end breast cancer! The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds from the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure™ are invested in breast cancer research and community programs.
One person is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes in the United States. That's why I'm walking so far. To do something bold about breast cancer. When my grandchildren grow up I want them to not have to endure what so many go through to fight this on a daily basis. I want them to not have to wake up wondering if this disease is going to beat them or that they will have to say goodbye to someone that they love. I want there to be a cure.
